Rose McGowan

"Rose", born on 5 September 1973 is an American actress. Following
her debut film in a short role in the comedy Encino Man (1992), McGowan
achieved wider recognition for her role in the dark comedy The Doom Generation
(1995) and received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut
Performance. McGowan's first film appearance was in the horror film Scream in
the year 1996. Later, she became the star of Jawbreaker (1999), Devil in the
Flesh (1998), and Going All the Way (1997). McGowan was most well-known for her
character in Charmed the supernatural drama series on the WB from 2001 to the
year 2006. Quentin Tarantino directed her double-feature film Grindhouse (2006)
that in which she won the Saturn Award for Best Actress and the Scream Award to
Best Scream Queen. The album she released her debut album on, Planet 9, was
released in the year of 2018. The album was followed by a repackaging of Planet
9 in 2020. McGowan was awarded the title of Silence Breakers in 2017 by Time
magazine. The award honors McGowan's advocacy for sexual harassment and
assault, particularly with regard to Harvey Weinstein cases of sexual abuse as
well as the Me Too movement. In the year 2018, she released Brave an
autobiography, and was a part of Citizen Rose, a four-part documentary series.
