Alona Tal
Alona Tal is an Israeli-American performer and actress. Her birthplace was in Herzliya on the 20th of October 1983. She started her career as a soldier as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces. Her biggest break came in 2003 , when she was the lead in an Israeli film. She was also a part of two Israeli television shows at the time. She tried her hand at singing and recorded a few songs along with Subliminal the Israeli rapper. Tal moved in the city of New York with her sister. Then, she teamed up with Haitian artist Wyclef Jean on the song "Party to Damascus". She also was able to establish herself on American TV, starting with a recurring part in the series Veronica Mars: She originally was a candidate for the lead but creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character specifically for her. Later, Tal was offered a regular part of the CBS series. After moving to New York, he appeared in two TV shows in Israel. Wyclef Jean recorded a track. Hebrew is her first language. Second in the competition for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). She was auditioned for the role and was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas was so in love with her that he chose to play the role of Meg Manning for her. She was a member of the Israel Defense Forces. Both her parents are Jewish--her father is Turkish/Jewish and mother is Polish/Jewish. Acts as Adrian Monk’s daughter in the show's final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish while her mother is Polish/Jewish.
